Day 1: Arrival in Agadir

Welcome to Agadir

Upon arrival in Agadir, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and exploring this vibrant coastal city known for its beautiful beaches and lively atmosphere.

Day 2: Agadir City Tour

Exploring Agadir

Today, we embark on a city tour of Agadir. Visit the Kasbah, offering panoramic views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean. Explore the bustling Souk El Had, where you can shop for local crafts and taste traditional Moroccan cuisine. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon on the beach or visit the Agadir Birds Valley park.

Day 3: Agadir to Taroudant

Journey to Taroudant

After breakfast, we depart for Taroudant, often referred to as “Little Marrakech”. En route, we’ll pass through the fertile Souss Valley. In Taroudant, visit the ancient city walls, the lively souks, and the Berber market. Overnight stay in Taroudant.

Day 4: Taroudant to Taliouine and Taznakht

Exploring the Heart of Morocco

Today, we head towards Taliouine, the heart of Morocco’s saffron-growing region. Visit a saffron cooperative to learn about this valuable spice. Continue to Taznakht, renowned for its traditional Berber carpets. Spend the night in a local guesthouse.

Day 5: Taznakht to Ouarzazate

The Gateway to the Sahara

Our journey takes us to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its numerous film studios and movie backdrops. Visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 6: Ouarzazate to Dades Gorge

Exploring the Dades Valley

Depart for the Dades Valley, traveling along the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Stop at the stunning Skoura Oasis and the famous Amridil Kasbah. Continue to the dramatic Dades Gorge, where we’ll spend the night in a charming hotel.

Day 7: Dades Gorge to Merzouga

Into the Sahara

Today, we head to Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. En route, visit the Todra Gorge, with its towering rock walls. In Merzouga, embark on a camel trek into the dunes, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular sunset before arriving at our desert camp for a night under the stars.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert Exploration

Desert Adventures

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the surrounding desert by 4×4, visiting the Gnawa village of Khamlia, known for its traditional music. In the afternoon, return to the camp for more desert activities or relaxation.

Day 9: Merzouga to Alnif and Nkob

Discovering Ancient Villages

Leave the desert behind and travel to Alnif, an area rich in fossils. Visit local workshops to learn about fossil extraction and processing. Continue to Nkob, a picturesque village with numerous kasbahs and lush palm groves. Overnight in Nkob.

Day 10: Nkob to Zagora

Route to Zagora

Our journey continues to Zagora, passing through the Draa Valley, known for its vast palm groves and ancient kasbahs. In Zagora, visit the famous Tamegroute Library, home to ancient manuscripts and explore the local pottery workshops. Overnight stay in Zagora.

Day 11: Zagora to Marrakech via Ouarzazate

Return to Marrakech

We begin our journey back to Marrakech, stopping again in Ouarzazate for lunch and a visit to the Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an iconic filming location. Continue through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 12: Marrakech City Tour

Exploring Marrakech

On our final day, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, including the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the stunning Bahia Palace. Explore the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the bustling souks. Spend your last night in a traditional riad, soaking up the magical atmosphere of the Red City.
